Jaguar I-Pace Sports Car

Jaguar I-Pace

Right now, the Jaguar I-Pace is just a concept car. It will have five seats and is considered a sports car. It is said to start shipping in the late part of 2018. There will be two electric motors in this vehicle: one on each side.

The I-Pace has been spotted in several locations, numerous times, being tested, confirming that it is on point, unlike many other manufacturers that seem to be just ‘vaporware’.

It has a long-cabin, short-nose design, unlike any other electric vehicle. It’s more hatchback than SUV. It has an elegant look that helps make up for the fact that it has less interior space than the Model X.

The Netherlands estimates have given a baseline to convert the price to US dollars:

I-PACE S is $76,000, have 18” wheels, have LED headlights, and a Meridian audio system.
I-PACE SE is $83,865, have 20” wheels, adaptive cruise control, leather seating, and a power tailgate.
I-PACE HSE is $90,387 and has 18-way power adjustable seats, surround sound, and other cool features.
I-PACE First Edition is $98,773 and adds head up display, air suspension, and a sunroof.

The setup on the I-PACE goes from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. The EPA-rated range is 234 miles, falling just short of Tesla’s Model X. however, it’s right in line to compete with German competitors when they arrive.
